Mary J's Story
Briefly, my life it seems was really just planned out for me. If you remember, I chose to work in the co-op program. I was asked to work in the Attendance office for Mrs. H. I know, many of you remember me giving all those excuses to you for being LATE, and also the HALL PASSES, don't you?????? :)
Then, after graduation, I moved out of my family home, went to the University of DE for one Semester, had no financial assistance, although Mrs. Cotter did everything to try and help me. and left. hool. The principal was super nice and so were the students. I think they were relieved, I was there. After a period of time, I actually made her smile one day. We had no problem geting along after that. Enough of that. From there, I got a phone call from Mr. Johnson, Principal of P.S. and he asked me if I wanted to work there so I did. The young guy that gave the test could not control the students, it was hysterical. The manager at the Civil Service office called me and asked me what happened during the testing session. So, I got the job at the Civil Service office and my Federal Government Career Started. The person that gave us the test, was fired for many other reasons. (More Later)
